Meta Quest Headset Activation

If you’ve already registered your headset, you should still be able to get this credit within 7 days of activation by following the below steps. This is what I had to do when i bought my headset and it worked like a charm and was worth the 10 or so minutes that it takes.
- You will first need to reset your Quest headset. This sounds worse than it is and is pretty easy. To do so, go to this link – https://www.meta.com/help/quest/articles/fix-a-problem/troubleshoot-headsets-and-accessories/troubleshooting-factory-reset-quest/. Just step through the instructions provided. This will return your headset to default settings. Your account and content will be unaffected. Once done come back to this page.
- Next, power on your headset. When it gets to the setup screen, do NOT proceed further at this time.
- Open a referral link provided above.
- Click “Accept Referral” button.
- Go back to your headset and now complete the setup.
- On your Meta Quest mobile app, re-pair your headset. (Menu\Devices\add your device)
- The credit should be available in the Meta Quest app store within a few minutes.
